Carsten Pieper Well, "totally improvised space rock music" might be a special interest thing, but for those interested this extensive double album is a real delight! Hard to believe that all these great melodies, textures and sound sculptures are invented as the collective jammed along. I have the biggest respect for such musicianship!

Hard to pick a favourite, I chose the first track, that gets things rolling. Early 70s Floyd have to be a huge influence. Mid to late 70s Tangerine Dream, too, I guess. Favorite track: Rollin'.

San Pedro The long tracks are great i have enough time to tune in to the music. My best listening experience is on a bicycle with this album playing. Favorite track: Chris Ice Sack.

Strange Daze Radio Possibly my favorite OSC release. Lots of great tracks to choose from - but Alien Strip Club takes the cake for me. Space Rock at its best. Favorite track: Alien Strip Club.

Gavin Bennet An extremely good album. Even Dr Space himself ranks this one pretty highly, what better recommendation do you need?
Favorite track: Jupiter Flyby (In Memory of Doug Walker).

This is my favourite ØSC album. It represents the creative peak of this fine collective and originally album was issued in 2006 by Transubstans Records from Sweden. Music is fantastic and there is plenty of it, over 150 minutes. But when you listen to it doesn't appear that long, never dull moment.
It is almost like composed material. If this truly is improvised music then ØSC
was very motivated collective during recording session.
Highly Recommended
Mark: 8/10

Recommend listening after ØSC: Klaus Schulze-X (1978)

about

Øresund Space Collective is a totally improvised space rock band from Copenhagen and southern Sweden. It’s all about Delay was originally released in 2006 on the Transubstans label from Sweden in a double CD format in a DVD case. It has been sold out since 2008.

The music was mastered specifically for vinyl from the original 24 bit mixes by Johan Dahlström (Sweden), who has mastered all previous OSC records. A few of the pieces have alternative start and finished and one track is extended by 7mins (Tony Blair Witch Crocket Project) and In her Majesty’s Secret Saucer a new mix was made by Magnus Hannibal (Mantric Muse) who did the original mix of the record.

The original artwork has now been reworked into a fantastic 4 LP box set with a large poster by the amazing artist, Ed Unitsky. This is a one time pressing in 500 copies as joint release with Sound Effects records in Greece. The vinyl release is delayed until the summer... It's all about Delay!
