In Oct 2007, we entered into the Black Tornado Studio once again. I describe the line up below. Anyway, we recorded 7 hrs of jams in the studio and have only ever released one album from this session so I decided to dig into this further now. This is the 2nd jam from the studio and the song PP746 starts around 12mins but the rest of this jam is totally unreleased. I think there are some great parts. See what you think. Enjoy..

This was our first time with KG (then in Siena Root) who played sitar, guitar and hammond at this session. Thomas (Gas Giant) also joined us for the first time on bass. Luz (Brazilan percussionist also joined on congas, bongos and percussion. PIB on drums, Mogens and I on synths and Tobias and Jocke from the Carpet Knights. jocke plays the bass on this track. Great line up.

This is kind of a monolithic album imho, yet somehow it's OSJC's most approachable album (that I've heard so far, I guess). I say that as a person who initially balked at the runtimes - I'm a "brevity is the soul of wit" kinda guy. That said, these jams are absolutely first-class. You do not feel the length at all, they're more like soundtracks to an inner movie. Soft Velvet Underbelly makes me wish I still played Elite: Dangerous, so I could commit space piracy to it. Has a great coda, too. Smekermann
