Great album, nice packaging, but still a bit boring. The music sometimes gets lost too much in endless repetitions of short sequences. Hardly any change. A little more complexity and sophistication would be desirable.

This is the 40th release (28th studio album) by the all improvised Scandinavian supergroup, Øresund Space Collective. This session took place in Sept 2022 and collected up a number of top musicians to create several albums of progressive, psychedelic, world music and space rock! Mattias Olsson (Ånglagård, many other bands) Drums, Mellotron, percussion, Tim Wallander (Ozric Tentacles, Agusa), Hasse Horrigmoe (Tangle Edge) Bass, Jonathan Segel (Sista Maj, Camper van Beethoven, Hieronymous Firebrain, etc..), Guitar- Violin, Luis Simões (Saturnia)- Guitar, Jiri Hjorth (Fri Galaxe, Univerzals, etc..) Conga, percussion, Mogens Pedersen (Univerzals, and others), Pär Halje- Synths, and of course Dr Space on synths.
Everyone is Evil is an epic 64min track that takes the listener on an intense journey thru different universes and a bit of CAN, Magma, and other bands but in our own unique way. Everyone is Good brings you down to a more calm state in this repetitive, meditative exploration into space music. The two CD bonus tracks start with a rocking one and then followed by a 29min trip to another world. Lots of musical ideas are explored during the journey. Enjoy!

My great friend actually reveals limitations on his own as a musician with these solo albums. Still great ambience and some tasty analog style stuff evoking 80s Hawkwind or The Legendary Pink Dots. Be proud, Doctor! Christian Mumford

This is kind of a monolithic album imho, yet somehow it's OSJC's most approachable album (that I've heard so far, I guess).
I say that as a person who initially balked at the runtimes - I'm a "brevity is the soul of wit" kinda guy. That said, these jams are absolutely first-class. You do not feel the length at all, they're more like soundtracks to an inner movie. Soft Velvet Underbelly makes me wish I still played Elite: Dangerous, so I could commit space piracy to it. Has a great coda, too. Smekermann
Sustained by seismic psych riffs, proggy shifts, and vivid sci-fi storytelling, these Milwaukee cosmonauts command respect. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 29, 2023
